Since April 30th, I've been on the go. Many areas, there is no cell or WIFI service. When I get service, I try to see what you have been up to. I'm in my travel trailer living and hoping its my last year of it and then just use for camping and hosting.
This photo is one my daughter took of Mt. Rainier. She surprised me last week showing up in Washington. She currently lives in Oregon with her husband and my grandkids. He drives truck and pulls out of Centralia WA. Sometimes, he is training others and they give him a hotel for a week. Instead of going home, she goes to him.
I was doing laundry and turned around coming face-to-face with her.
While he was working, she took off to explore WA and made her way to me.
I live in Washington and recently moved to the western area from Prosser, the desert. Back to the trees, rain and...bugs.
Before coming back, I pulled my trailer down to Albany, Oregon and stayed in a nice park spending May 1st to June 14th near my daughter. Got lots of medical stuff done and cancelled the rest for now.
We went to water falls, lakes, hiking and visiting where I used to live to say a formal goodbye to the area.
Worked my way up using my Harvest Host membership staying at wineries, farms and ranches.
I'll be camp hosting July, not far from home. Been looking for August but most in need have no cell service or a bit far. Next April, I have one in Oregon at the beach. I'm so excited for that one.
My plan is to camp host the next few months and then begin to look for some property even if it's bare land for now.
I hope all of you are doing great. Going to go play catch up. Have a wonderful week.

It sounds like you've been having quite the adventure! Your daughter's surprise visit must have been such a joy, especially with the beautiful scenery around Mt. Rainier. Exploring Washington and Oregon, getting medical stuff done, and planning your future camping and hosting adventures all sound fantastic.I'm sure camp hosting will be a rewarding experience, and finding your own piece of land sounds like an exciting next step. Enjoy catching up and have a wonderful week ahead!

@annierose It's been so busy. I have a day off and heading to the larger city today for an oil change and groceries. Glad you are doing well. I'll be catching up soon.

@sallypup The mosquitos are awful! Especially, inside one of the wetter loops (wetlands here) and they have feasted on me no matter what I do. It's still great. I am staying through August too and then Nov/Dec will be doing a more inland park about 1 1/2 hours away. Not sure about Sept and Oct. yet.

Sounds like a wonderful time even if the plan is not to do it full time. The wife and I have talked about just kicking out of Dodge and hitting the road, but I don't think we could do it full time. Maybe for a little while. But not forever, so it might not be worth the risk for us.
