1 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from sunny, pleasant Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's a comfortable 70 F with a light breeze. I wouldn't mind this for the whole of summer. Unfortunately, the hot days are coming again. I can wait.
I'm thankful today and every day.
Today, I'm thankful my son picked me up for my follow-up doctor's appointment this morning, and waited for me in the parking lot.
I'm thankful for the doctor who saw me. He is the associate for my primary. He's young and he listened. He ordered chest x-rays and I'm seeing him again on Wednesday with another follow-up. The new diagnosis is bronchitis.
I'm thankful my son took me to the store for bananas and Kleenex after the doctor's appointment. He'll pick me up again on Wednesday.
I'm thankful for new medication. The pharmacy was a bit slow with it, but I finally got it and took the first dose. It almost feels like I'm back to normal. Almost. Hopefully, tomorrow I will feel more myself and can get back to regular exercise.
I'm thankful for the time I spent with you today. I have the notifications finished and I saw what you're doing in your world. I love connecting with you.
I'm thankful I watched yesterday's church service. I even paid attention. The sermon was on forgiveness.
I'm thankful for my neighbor who took me to get my medication and a few other items I needed and could use on the OTC card.
Okay, that's my day. I also played my game. I'm ready to get off the computer and watch television. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. From the trail I will soon be back to walking on.

It's been a long time since I had bronchitis. I thought it was only a cough that would go away, eventually. I'm glad I went to the ER. I only wish they gave the right diagnosis. I would be further along in recovery than I am. I'm hoping I'll have my life back today. I know I'll still have the cough, but if I can start doing what I used to do before this happened, I'll be happy.

I didn't know you had bronchitis, God will make sure you're feeling better soon. I'm thankful that we had another cool day. Heat? I pray that it's short lived!

The ER doctor last Thursday said it was viral upper respiratory infection and gave me medication for that. The medication didn't work because it was a wrong diagnosis. When I went to the doctor this morning for a follow-up, he took chest x-rays and said it was bronchitis and gave me new medication. I'm feeling much better.
I'm hoping to be back in church on Sunday.
Thank you for your prayers.

@just4him I pray for your family(and you)every morning:) Some antibiotics don't fight off infections. You have a bacterial infection, it's not viral. Thank God, your doctor took care of this

I'm glad you had a good day. I am thankful today went well enough. George wanted me to call about his tube, completely misunderstanding what the doctor said friday. I got him calmed down and he's been a bit more compliant, just more vocal about want the tube out.

@just4him I can pray he does, but he has to be the one to do it. I can't sit on him and shove food down his throat.

I have had bronchitis for many years when I was growing up. I hated it. I never want that again.

Wish I was enjoying your temperatures! It will be above 112 this week here in Arizona. I’m thankful for my 4 fur babies that give me a reason to keep going every day. I’m thankful for my neighbor that takes me to run errands when I need a ride.
