Not going to the little Tesco today.

I'm not going to the little Tesco again today because of the rain. My Mum is going to go instead (at some point!) I don't think she's got me a birthday present yet either. I hope she doesn't say what she did last year and say I'll get something later, you'll just have to have it late! Last night, at around 10:00pm, a birthday card came through the letter box for me. It didn't have a stamp on it, so I knew it had been delivered by hand. I saw a cars headlights on outside so I went to the kitchen window to see if I could see who it was, but it was too dark! I'll find out who it was tomorrow when I open it! This morning it had been raining, and the newspaper came through the door. When I came into the living room I saw it in the letter box and I went and fetched it in. My Mum asked me if it was wet. I said, Not any more, but..... The whole of the front and back pages were all crinkled where it had been wet. My Mum said she thought only the end of the paper would be wet where it was sticking out of the letter box, but the whole of it was crinkled, so the paper boy (or paper man!) had obviously got it wet before it was pushed through the letter box! So today, instead of going to the little Tesco, I will be staying in and watching the telly! What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
