Do you guys realise how many opportunities today's teens miss due to social media? Honestly, im so tired of tiktok vids and youtube shorts. Its controlling our souls. Imagine I can't get up from bed the minute i just woke up. I can't do my morning routine without scrolling through my phone for at least half an hour. I just decided. This morning, I deleted tiktok and snapchat.I hope I can fill the void.

If one finds its more of an addiction, then for sure its time to address that.

Discipline! I guess we can't totally eliminate social media in our lives. In one way or another we must be in touch and updated because that's what the world is about now. That's the kind of world we're moving in nowadays.

I worry at times that today’s teenagers/young people, are on overload. The phones, etc. TikTok and apps and keeping up with an online presence is exhausting. You don’t even have time to just be yourself. Start small. Promise yourself you will stay away from it all for a certain amount of time if you are struggling with it. Start out with an hour or two and build it up- maybe that will work. Plan some time to do something you enjoy—a walk, time with a friend, volunteer somewhere. Find a kitty or a dog to pet and love on. Just some ideas for you. I hope you have a really good day!!
