A word about marketing/advertising via PM here at myLot / myLot

The main objective view here is please, simply do not do it. You may not use private messaging at myLot to recruit referrals/affiliates/etc for any reason. It has never been acceptable behavior here. A direct quote from the myLot Guidelines: Advertising of any sort - This includes posting affiliate/referral links, directing people to your profile or web page or encouraging people to message you for information. So please do not.

It surprises me how many people won't read the guidelines ...... sure, sometimes they're unclear to someone whose first language is not English but they can always ask even in a discussion, isn't that true?

It is pretty straightforward. I do not know what confuses you. You may not use private messaging at myLot to recruit referrals/affiliates/etc for any reason. Are you trying to get affiliates/referrals for other sites using PMs here? That is what this post is about.

Thank you. I have a question. People on here mention sites they are on. I am mostly interested in writing sites that do not compete with myLot. Is it okay to ask them to message more info, like the name of the site and what kind of stuff they want? Good to see you, Daddy Evil. I miss you here and glad you popped in with the suggestion.
