CNN Live says that possible shots were fired at Donald Trump

It's live if you get CNN and want to listen/see it.
It did sound like gunshots. Very close to where he was. He hit the ground behind the podium. Secret service rushed in and put him in an armored car and he has left the area (Pennsylvania area). They said there appeared to be some blood on his ear, that's all that's known so far.

I have read and heard on news before that Trump is/was terrified that he would be shot at some point. Maybe he has had threats, if so, they weren't really made public.

Wow, I just put that on. That is gonna be the story all week. He doesn't look too badly injured. I guess that happened in Butler PA. I drove through that county over the 4th.

I was getting ready to watch the 5 o’clock news and it flashed to that as it was happening. I know that both sides have haters, but this type of news is never good.

Although I read some pretty wild things about Trump, and his beliefs and disbeliefs.
But nobody deserves this, and the fact that he will have fear of going out in public going forward, as anyone who has been in such a violent incident, must face.
I think that it is very sad that people allow politics to become so important in their lives that they resort to this.
It is important, but it shouldn't determine how people act and the laws that they will break.

Violence likes this solves nothing. I am sure the same thing could possibly happen any time to a president, vice president, key political figure. We are a very diverse nation and there a lot of hotheads out there. I don’t know why I’m surprised at this, but I was.

He had a graze on his ear, but reports that he is okay. One spectator was killed, another in serious condition, shooter was killed. Last I knew no motive was given.

I had put CNN on about one minute before this happened. He put his hand to his ear and looked at it, and then went behind the podium.

Violence just breeds more violence, it's like an epidemic. Everyone doesn't like someone, that's life. Shooting the person is not the answer to whatever the issue is here.

Yes, I heard that Trump was hit in the ear, by a bullet. It was aimed towards his head.
