@snowy22315 Years ago I found restaurant chicken bones in a motel parking lot, not far from a garbage can. I had my dog with me. I picked up the mess and threw it away then told the motel clerk.

They do it because they can and don't have a reason to care. What's the worst that could happen? They get caught and pay a fine, fat chance.

Whenever I see those my brain goes twisted, were we all promoting all packages food and doesn't bother to think where it suppose to be thrown instead, some prefer to leave wherever they sits, stands, eats...

@jstory07 I don't know, but in my area here we have some pretty TRASHY neighbors that has really hurt the value of our place where we can't sell & no 1 want's to buy in a trashy area.

That is common everywhere, We have a nice system where garbage is collected from house to house and yet I have seen bags of garbage thrown on the road.

When my kids were growing up we always had trash bags in the car and gloves to pick up trash with. I hope my grown kids do not litter.

I am glad you wear gloves when picking up. We stop at roadsides and parks often. I need to carry some gloves. I do keep sanitizing wipes in the car.

This should not happen in developed countries like Australia. In some countries trash bins/cans are absent or not cleared and hence overflowing with accumulated stuff.
