Berlusconi is the OG, no doubt!

I don't know what has been shared abroad, but here we can't help but compare Trump with Berlusconi for the umpteenth time. Berlusconi was hit with a statuette in 2009. It isn't the same as having a bullet pierce your ear, but we don't sell firearms as freely. We are creative though. The statuette depicted the Dome of Milan: a pointy object nevertheless, that can cause a lot of damage. I found the comparison to be kind of insensitive as Trump's case was way more severe. Yet I understand it would be a shame to not take advantage of this to add a new element to the set of similarities between the two. Both entrepreneurs, very wealthy, openly into women (teens too, possibly), subjective view about justice, friends of Putin, self-claimed victims of powers-that-be and so forth. Their sense of humor is probably different though, not sure if Trump has ever cracked dirty jokes. There is much more but this should suffice. Perhaps you want to know more about Berlu's approach to the far-right. Well, his party was aligned to the center-right but would ally with the far-right, coalitions are a popular thing here. He'd never ally with the left or the "communists". Berlu also owned a couple soccer teams (not simultaneously), had his own private television and founded his own party, something Trump did not do but I wish he would. I mean, how can you tell how amazing you are if you rely on a well-established party such as the Republican one? That's too easy! Berlusconi was superior, period! Sorry Donnie. Well, tell me what you think. Photo from Il Messaggero, sharing the link despite the article being in Italian, but that's the source.

Berlusconni ended up in jail didn't he? I hope Trump does to at some point. Lord knows, he deserves it.

@snowy22315 Berlusconi was deemed too old for jail but he was sent to do "social services", I think he worked in a retirement home once a week, entertaining people his age probably.

Well , they both had their own money before politics which says that they both desired to make a difference in their countries.

@Kandae11 Yes, that definitely helped them be trusted by people, a common thought was that having their entrepreneurial skills applied to public matters would have been the recipe for success. If they failed at making their countries great again, then they'd blame external forces.

I think you're right. Trump is inferior to everyone, including Berlusconi.
