Prayers and good vibes for Dixie, please.

Dixie, my beloved adopted sister, is in great pain. So she is checking again the leg that was harmed when she was run over 2 years ago.
Many doctors will not do the needed surgery because of her heart. But for a while she was a a reasonable shape and it did not hurt much.
But now it has started to hurt a lot.
One of the problems Dixie has is that she has spoiled Humberto in the worst way all her life. And Humberto accepts it as if he deserves it. He still invites people to his house and expects Dixie to do everything for them. Dixie is not very helpful either. She does everything and it has to be her way. I have stopped trying to help her in many ways because even when setting the table, there is a right and wrong way to do it even when we won´t have anyone else eating with us.
I was thinking about going this week to Dixie´s to go from her house to my exams I was told that Dixie was driving to the airport and to one of her daughters house. She does it because Humberto likes to have a glass of wine and she can´t drink.
Friends, this is a rant. I love my adopted sister and friend. But it is high time that she should let us help her.
Please pray that doctors can do a procedure in her leg so that it hurts less.

She is afraid. There are a couple of very good doctors that have told her it can be done with a minimum risk.

@kobesbuddy I think that Humberto is as afraid as she is so he will not say anything beyond going with her where she needs to go.

Her problem seems to be the anesthetics. But I wonder if they can´t do something with local anesthesics.

I hope so too. And lately Humbertio is working less and Dixie wants to go where he is going. So she needs to be well.

When she was still with great pain 2 years ago, I went to her house so that she could stay in bed. She only had to give me orders. But she can´t do that. I would have had to tie her to the bed. I gave up.

She has told me that some doctors are willing to do the procedure. But she doesn´t dare. At least she didn´t when it did not hurt so much.

I will definitely add prayers and that Dixie can find some relief from her pain. Hopefully she'll accept help and not feel as if she has to do everything.

I don´t think that Dixie will accept help. It is part of her. When I want her to stop, I call her that she wants to be better than Mother Theresa. It is a little overwhelming to have a saint at home.
