I had my usual eggs and bacon for breakfast this morning. Now I am being a good boy and icing my knee. I will do a small grocery run soon, and be ready for my five students this afternoon. I wonder if it would be safe to crutch over to the pool this early evening and flex my leg in the water. My Dr. was supposed to call and check up on me this week, but he hasn't yet. What are you up to on this sunny and warm Friday?

@porwest I don't deny myself stuff I like. Fortunately, my likes are not very wild. I may buy myself a Mexican Martin for when I take my Collings OM-1 and my Martin D-18 to the shop in the Fall. Both need a bit of work.

It's Saturday evening here. These days I have my weekend on Friday and Saturday as Sunday has become a work from home day. I spent most of the Friday finishing some homework from my course. In the evening we had friends coming for dinner and they stayed here till brunch.. We had good time. One of them played my elder daughter's guitar and we all sang.

The concrete crew took out the bottom step of our porch and put up wooden frames for the new step/s. They are supposed to be shorter so that it's easier to climb them. I am hoping they get the handrails up before my husband comes home. Have a good weekend.
