20 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from hot Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 84 F. I know it's not hot for a lot of you, but here in Wisconsin, it's hot. I'm thankful the humidity is low.
Today has been good.
The plan was to take it light. I'm thankful I did.
I'm thankful I ran the dishwasher this morning. They're from the party yesterday. Not all of them are mine, so I need to get the dishes back to their owner, and she's not around this weekend.
I'm thankful for getting the Health Report posted. I am not going to step on the scale before next Friday. I've had a wonderful celebration and it's not over yet.
I'm thankful for the steps I've gotten today. I still need about 1200. I'll get them. I need to take it easy on my leg.
I'm thankful that when I put Missy out this morning and the cat ran out the door, I could get her back inside.
I'm thankful I have all the notifications finished and could spend time with you in your world. It's always fun to see what you're doing.
I'm thankful for my friends on myLot and my friends here. You all mean so much to me. I'm so blessed to know you and call you friend.
I'm thankful I'm alive to enjoy a brand new day.

I'm thankful for the thunderstorms we had today. Also with our mini tower fan, it's helped keep the living room tolarable and the stormes kept the house at a respectable 81 degrees today. I'm also thankful for George's continued progress. He's felt up to doing little projects around the house. I'll take it.

Such a lovely day my friend! Hope you really enjoy your day. Gratitude is really important. Being thankful for small things in life is what makes life brighter and happier! I just thank God for today, for simply waking me up, being healthy together with my loved ones and being able to do all the things to be done, whether on work or in home, having true friends through the years and of course being able to overcome all life's challenges that comes my way everyday.
