Back from the shop in the mountains

It is a real hike there, but if I bought all the stuff I bought at a real grocery store it would easily be 100 dollars, and I bought mine for 54. I mean where else can you get canned tuna for ,79 cents? Strawberries for .99..etc. I wanted to buy a huge box of Chobani Flip, but each container had 150 calories..pass on that. I got a light and lively 4 pack for 1.29. A large frozen container of Cauliflower mashed potatoes for .99..This place doesn't have wonderful prices on everything..and a few are over priced, but by and large I find it to be an amazing place to shop. I also got my mystery shop turned in finally. I have no doubt they will have some questions for me..but it's in anyway. How was your day?

Yes, it took me 12 bucks in gas to get out there..but I am certain I saved far more than that.

I did some thrift shopping. Brand new bathing suit for $4.00. Other neat stuff as well.

I recently shopped on TEMU. I didn't purchase right away the stuff in my cart, and they marked the price of my 10.00 cat rug down to a penny!! In addition to that I got dressy sandals and hair brush. I am gonna have to remember that site come Christmas time.

That sounds like a wonderful store! What is the name of it!! I miss mystery shopping on some stores, but not on others. Some were a true pain in the rear or their forms were!!

It is called Sharp Shopper but they have limited locations. Their stores are limited to PA and Virginia as far as I know.

I bet it was a pretty drive, too. I went on a little road trip today to get some state grown peaches. The sun was out and it was hot so it was a pleasant day for an outing.

Yes, it is nice, although I stuck to the interstate this time. It is shorter to go past the entrance to Shenadoah National Park, but it was too wet yesterday, and it didn't rain after I left..but more showers were predicted so I felt safer going on a well traveled interstate than cutting through the mountains which could be slippery going.

It's a bit odd how some stores can have such low prices on some items.

Overstocks and bad sellers can happen with any retailer..Also, sometimes the stuff if close to its expiration date..or stuff way in the past like they were selling pastel m&m's which were sold in the spring around Easter.

Thanks, Sunday is the boring day here. The only church I know I like is quite far from here. Well there is one I would go to once a month and I really like the minister. He is a fantastic guy and even ran for Congress. Except there are extenuating circumstances there.

Getting stuff at good prices is always good. We have Winco here and the prices are better than Walmart. Money saved is money earned.

Walmart has good prices on some things, and others you can find for less elsewhere. I don't shop there very often as none are close to me.

My day was ok. It wasn't too bad or great. Every amount of money saved matters.
