22 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. We reached our high for the day. At least the humidity is low.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful I got up early. I got 6.5 hours of sleep, the usual.
I'm thankful I could walk the trail this morning before my leg went bad on me. I got all but a thousand steps on the trail, and saw the train. I left for the trail at 6:30 this morning and walked both the wooded and pond trails. I also walked the hallway this morning to finish off my steps.
I'm thankful for Ibuprofen. My leg started hurting after I got home, which was a blessing. I took Ibuprofen right away and my leg is much better. Hopefully, tomorrow I won't need it.
I'm thankful I got hold of my friend this morning and got her dishes back to her. I also learned she has one of the gifts I got on Friday. I hoped she did.
I'm thankful I'm not too hungry today after everything I ate over the weekend. I'm keeping the calories low today. I did not step on the scale this morning.
I'm thankful I worked on Guns of War this afternoon. Minor editing. It's going well. Hopefully, when I get to the end, I can finish it. I know it's almost done.
Okay, that's my day. I'm going to get off the computer and watch TV and get a workout on the foot cycle.
I'm thankful for the time I spent here with you today. It's always good catching up and learning how your weekend went.

Sounds like a good day. My grandson joined me in my room playing a game with his VR headset. It is interesting to watch.

I am thankful I got my hair cut, and since she has a partner in there now, I didn't have to wait around forever. I am also thankful I got all the odds and ends I needed from Dollar Tree. I am also thankful, that Nico's cat food will be here tomorrow. I wasn't anticipating it would be. That is good because he is nearly out of his prescription food.

I love trains! I look forward to seeing the D&M train pass through Tawas:) Ibuprofen is a God sent! You should probably wait a few days, before you step on the scale. We watch a good western yesterday. It was a bit of a love story, between Billy the Kid(the town thought he was) and a beautiful Indian woman. He was hung, which I didn't expect.
