23 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from cloudy, wet, rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's warm too. The current temperature is 69 F. It feels warmer than that. I didn't do a brief this morning. There wasn't time. So, you'll get a double post. The plan for the day was to go to a meeting in the 400 building about what's going on here. That's not what happened. My son called last night and said he would pick me up at 11:30 to take me swimming. That sort of happened. If he had been here at 11:30 I could have gone to part of the meeting. He was early. I'm thankful for my son who picked me up at 10:30 to take me to the YWCA. Being early, I got a good workout in the fitness center before the pool. Forty minutes on the bike and then another forty minutes in the pool. I feel wonderful. I'm thankful for the time I spent here with you. I have the notifications finished, so I visited with you in your world to see what's happening in your corner of the globe. I can tell you, you're all talented and wonderful amazing people. I'm thankful I got the laundry done this morning. It's all folded and put away. I'm thankful my leg is getting better. I took Ibuprofen this morning after the three rounds of the halls. By the time my son got here, my leg was much better. I can even finish getting my steps. I'm thankful for the receptionist at the YWCA. I left my hat there. She found it and put it in the lost and found. I need to get back there in the next week to get it or I won't have a hat. I hope I can. Okay, that's my day.
