Greeted by Floodwaters

I woke up today because of the message alarm from the NDRRMC about the weather conditions. Due to the continuous heavy rain, many areas are now flooded. The places we passed through on our way to the repair shop recently are now chest-deep in water. All classes in schools and government offices have been suspended. When I opened the door to our house, I was met by floodwater. It’s already halfway up my legs and almost submerging my e-bike’s flooring, so I quickly moved it to a higher place to prevent any damage. Many roads are also impassable due to the depth of the floodwater. Our school is also flooded. Just in case of a power outage, I charged both my phone and my mother’s phone. Some people are already asking for help as they can't leave their homes due to the high water levels, while others who can still manage to get out are heading to evacuation centers.
