Well, the big news is I have one of the two focus groups I am doing today. This one only pays 40 dollars though which is crappy for a focus group. They sent a blurb this morning. I hadn't noticed before but it is 90 minutes long..
. The going rate for something like that is usually 150. I usually enjoy focus groups so I am sure it will be fine .but that is alot of time. Have you participated in a focus group previously?

Yes I have. I roughly figure $1 per minute. If it's less than that, I don't apply. Have a good day.

Still even this one worked out to 22 per hour. Not bad for typing on your puter for an hour and a half. Besides it is interesting to hear what other people think. Although this one, didn't give much opportunity for that.

This one was a little different, There was no talking just a discussion board answering questions, and very limited chances to interact with the other participants. Usually you are mostly aware of how others are answering and can comment.

I have done many over the years. I used to always do the in person ones, but haven't done one of those now for 3 or 4 years.

@Juliaacv Sometimes small ones. They seemed to have changed zoom now though. I am a little worried it isn't going to work. It used to be not a big deal. I am going to have to call support I think.

No I've never participated in a focus group. That $40 does sound cheap for the time involved

Yeah, but you have to look at it like it is more than 20 dollars an hour for just yapping. The other one I have tomorrow pays much better

Go or participate, if you get a chance. You usually just discuss a certain topic. With.the election coming up this year they will very likely have some political ones showing up. Alot of them are in items you might use in your daily life like say, soup,cat food, or coffee It all depends on who's sponsoring it. They can be in person or online I haven't done n in person one for a few years now
