Well, technically yesterday's again because it's after midnight! Anyway we did the usual things. Only one lift working again today, which we went up on! I got 3 magazines today. (Well, technically 4.) I got a Doctor Who magazine, and I got a Leisure Painter and The Artist magazines together in a bag for £7.99 again, which is cheaper than getting them separately. I also got a stamping magazine. I don't even know the name of the stamping magazine because all I was focusing on were the stamps which had very pretty flowery ones in them which I know my Mum will like on the cards. Next I got 2 bottles of water, and 3 prawn layered salads. While Mum was looking at something I was admiring a stuffed lion toy costing £12. I picked it up and stroked it and when Mum saw me she thought I'd gone nuts! We also saw a drinking glass (not actually made of glass) that had a straw on the outside! It had a hole in the bottom with the straw sticking through it, and then the straw wound it's way around the glass to the top! My Mum said, I bet that leaks! Well, it has to leak to get the drink into the straw! I went and got 2 boxes of Nurofen lemon meltlets because we were running low on them, then I went to look for Mum's pads but the ones she likes were out of stock again. Then we went to the fruit and veg section. I got the usual stuff. Mum got a lettuce and we got some garlic and a red onion for Syd. There were some cages of milk blocking my way to my yoghurts. A shop assistant saw me thinking of a way to get to them and asked me if I wanted her to move them out of the way and I said yes please. So when she'd moved the milk I got my yoghurts and then we got Mum's milk. I got an innocent smoothie and Mum got some puddings for Sunday. I got some fridge raiders plant based bites and some tofu and Mum got some ready meals. We didn't need any sauces or condiments or rice or anything from the canned isle so I went straight to the bread isle and got 6 sliced buns for my Mum. (Warburtons.) Then we went to the cakes. Mum got some creamy cakes for her and Syd for their supper tonight, and it was Mum's turn to do the cakes for the house group tonight so she got several different kinds of cakes to take there. Some mini muffins, some mini cupcakes, some tea cakes and whathaveyou. Then we bumped into Nora King again. Sometimes she keeps you talking for ages! Fortunately she didn't keep us talking for too long today. After that we went to the tea and coffee isle and I got both matcha and camomile T-bags. I also got some Love, Corn. Next we went to the frozen section and I got my vegan magnum ice lollies. Mum got some fish fingers and a small bag of McCain crinkle cut chips. I got my salmon chunks and salmon skewers. While Mum was looking at the party food I went and got some toilet paper and some mini packets of tissues. Then we went to pay. My Mum stood at the end of the conveyor again to stop anyone else starting to put their stuff on before we'd finished putting ours on. Then she went and sat on a bench while I packed the groceries in the bags. When I'd finished packing the bags and payed I went and sat with Mum on the bench for a bit. It was still only 4:00pm despite seeing Nora King! I went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap. Then I went back and sat on the bench for a bit longer. When it was nearly 4:25pm we went down on the lift. When we got into the undercover car park Syd wasn't there yet, so we sat on another bench to wait. There were a load of cigarette ends (I actually used another word for them which begins with f and ends in g and has an a in the middle, but they wouldn't let me post it because of a "bad word!" ) underneath the bench which I pointed out to my Mum. She said Looks like a chain smoker. I said Lung cancer, anyone? A few minutes later Syd turned up and we packed the bags into the boot. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. My Mum and Syd had a haddock risotto thing which I could smell all night afterwards. Later I put the recycle out ready for tomorrow. I said we should put out the next door neighbour's bins too, because the new owners still haven't moved in yet and when we looked at their recycle bag for the card and paper we could see that it was jam packed full. So Syd took our wheelie bins for the recycle and the garden waste to the end of the drive with our recycle bag, then he took the neighbour's to the end of their drive. He found a parcel addressed to our old neighbours behind their garden waste bin while he was doing that. We don't know how long it had been there. Could have been there since Friday when they moved out. He brought it in and one of us is going to have to go and deliver it to them, providing we're sure we know which house they now live at! Mum's friend Frances was late picking her up for the house group. Her relatives had turned up out of the blue just as she was about to go out! When my Mum had gone out I watched an episode of Doctor Who on DVD and had a look at my new magazines. My Mum came back before I went to bed. Next week we are going to go to the big Tesco on Tuesday instead of Wednesday because our cooker is supposed to be coming on Wednesday, but we don't know what time. So I won't be going to the little Tesco on Tuesday, we'll get everything from the big Tesco instead. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night.

Thank you very much. Yes, it was a busy day. I just took my blood pressure ready to go for my medication review on Monday. Today is art class day again. I don't know what we're doing today, the tutor just said we will have a project for you to do. Next week is the last week. It's an extra week because we had to cancel it on 4th July because of the election, they were using the hall as a polling station. So next week we'll be doing what we would have done on the 4th July. I'm glad they've got the concrete and new window done. I hope you are well. Have a nice day.

Not sure what a Tesco is, can you tell me please? I love chamomile tea. Magazines are way more expensive here too. I was unaware that we there was a "Doctor Who" magazine.

Tesco is a supermarket. We get all our groceries from there. Magazines have been going steadily up in price. Oh, yes. Doctor Who magazine has been going since around 1975. It was Doctor Who weekly first, then it was Doctor Who monthly, and then it became simply Doctor Who magazine.

@sharonelton Your Tesco trips are fascinating. I’ve done very little today. Drove down to the harbour but couldn’t be bothered getting out to walk.

@sharonelton I love watching the boats coming and going at the harbour, imagining that I’m a stowaway headed for Panama.

I think it's an American thing. That and those meatball things that you get, 'cept they're made with pork!
