What did you do with your first paycheck/wages?

First job is a wonderful feeling. The first pay is even the more memorable as it is our first reward for our hardwork. My first salary was $300 .It was my earning after working for 2 weeks . Unfortunately I did not have my debit card pin and could not withdraw any of the salary . I bought a shirt for my father , plants for my mother and game cds for my brother. I bought a formal shirt for me. It was a wonderful feeling. So, what did you do with your first paycheck/wages?

Roy Rogers. I like that! Wendy's was my go-to place when I had my first post-college job up in Seattle.

@TheHorse Wendy's has very good hamburgers I must say. That would be my first stop on payday if one was near.

Couldn't remember anymore! Geez... my first pay check... That was so long ago, like 20-25 years ago. But I'm quite sure, I gave a part of it to my mother or treat both my parents and my sibling, something like that.

I remember when I was a kid with some of my first earnings I bought a nail buffing kit, and I don't remember what else. It wasn't anything major.

It was too long ago for me to remember. I probably opened a bank account and put it in there.

@RevivedWarrior A bank account. Not a bank! I like to tuck away money and have it earn interest.

Your generosity and kindness from the fruit of your labor is wonderfully inspiring. Rest assured blessings will return to you a hundredfold. My first job was in 2018 after 32 years being a home-maker housewife. I helped my husband pay the bills with my very first salary. And gave $50 each to my 2 children who still live with us. :-)

I took my family members out for lunch, gave some money to my mother. Bought a new pair of jeans for myself.

Wages are mainly meant for labours who work on contract basis....
