Another Blessing

After all the drama with the horrible antique store business things started to fall into place! As I mentioned earlier, that the morning after moving out of that place, I felt refreshed. I had some errands in town and I took the time to talk with one of the druggists at the local drug store. He is the son of the owners of the store. We talked a bout of few of the things the store was missing: meal replacement shakes, vitamins and supplements in other forms instead of those huge pills to swallow, how the makeup section was lacking. I told him that I could help fill those gaps. He wanted to know more about the products, so I went to my car to get a catalog. He gave me his mother's name and took my phone number and said that his mother would be calling me to set up a consignment agreement. I waited and no phone call. I just assumed that she and her husband (the owners) were not interested. I was going to ask the son if he gave his mother the message the next time I saw him, but we never crossed paths the the next couple of weeks. I had to run in and pick up a prescription on a Saturday morning and guess who was there? Both of the owners!! I got my prescription and headed to the blood pressure machine to get my reading and stopped to talk to the owner's wife when finished with bp reading. I told her that I had talked to her son about some supplements and beauty supplies for consignment in the store. She told me, "He forgot to tell me!" We talked and she was excited that I had so many things that would enhance the store with products that they did not have. She gave me one of the employees names to meet with the following week to get set up in the store. That meeting got postponed to the following week because of an "incident" in the store and this lady only works Monday through Wednesday and I had boutique on Wednesday, so one more week of patience!! We met last week and ironed everything out. I need to get a list made of all of the UPC's on products and put name and descriptions and the prices on them so that all the information can be entered into the computer. We already tested bar code scanning and that was compatible. The next thing for me to do is get the list done and put prices on all of the products and move in! So, I will be super busy this week along with the Grand Opening of the new store here in town and Anniversary Sale going on in the original boutique.
