Power of Sleeping with an Earphone. I couldn't believe I am still doing this at this age. I would be watching some podcasts with an earphone, thinking others will get disturbed, but in the morning I could only find my earphone broken. Thankfully, my phone was not fallen on the floor. I feel like using my phone in bed is becoming problematic. It looks like from now on, I should restrict myself using phone in bed, no matter I am tempted to use it. Till then no more listening and I will buy another earphone later.

zyhere are some over the ear headphone options and some headphone options designed to be worn in bed. I'd consider something like that, and keeping your phone on a night stand or dresser by your bed.

@psanasangma I have a dresser I use as a night stand. That's where my phone goes at night.

You are lucky you didn't drop the phone and have it break. Taking your phone to bed could be a problem as tempting as it is,

I don't use the phone in bed typically. I do use a tablet though.

I still do, I can't count anymore how many earphones and headphones got broken because of the same habit as yours. But I don't listen to podcast... but I listen to music since 9 years old, and now I also listen to preaching on YouTube until I fell asleep. Lol!

They make Bluetooth speakers in headbands that you can comfortably wear in bed. They’re primarily for people who need white noise to sleep.

Maybe you could use wireless earphones. But for me never slept with earphone. It might be bad for your ear.

Wow, that is really broken! I had earphones stop working several times in my lifetime. I'm using a pair from Sony that have been very sturdy so far, they've been lasting for years. But I don't plug them into my iPhone because I simply can't, I only use them with my computer and I bet that increases their lifespan.
On the other hand, the iPhone earphones no longer work, so I haven't been able to fall asleep with videos playing in the background for a while now.
