I was wrong about Bob having an audiologist appointment today. But we went to the VA anyway.
He is having some pain and is afraid of another abscess in a muscle.He was seen and evaluated by the urology nurse (male) and the first thing is that they think he may have a urinary tract infection.
That is common with this new medicine.
It will take a couple of days to culture for a specific bacteria, but they said it looks "dirty" when they checked for bacteria. Whatever antibiotic they determine he needs they will "overnight" it to him.
We did learn that he seems to be functioning properly otherwise.
On our way home we stopped and picked up some groceries. Bob was concerned we might run out of coffee. He wants to cook a pot roast for us as well, tomorrow.
The weather is hot hot hot even though we had a brief downpour this morning.

You were wise to get into the VA and have him checked out before too much time passes.
I am sure that it gets busier as the week progresses.
It is so nice to have a husband who knows his way around the kitchen.
My husband is making us homemade chicken pizzas for supper right now...........and he even set the table.
Life IS good.

He definitely had a UTI and I hope nothing worse. I have been reading online about the possible side effects of his newest med.

It's cooler here, since we got a rain shower. I'm sure Bob will be feeling better, on the medication.

Good thing you got checked out. And, I know what you mean. We're expecting something from the tropics, but I suspect it won't cool things down much.

Glad all is well with Bob! The heat is on, and nothing beats a comforting meal like pot roast with roasted potatoes, veggies, and a rich mushroom and onion gravy. Imagine the aroma filling the kitchen as the pot roast slowly cooks, tender and flavorful, with golden roasted potatoes, vibrant vegetables, and a savory gravy that ties everything together perfectly. It's the kind of hearty dish that warms you from the inside out, especially on a chilly day. However, running out of coffee is a huge problem for Bob, I guess, lol. There's nothing quite like that morning cup of coffee to kickstart the day, and the thought of a coffee-less morning is enough to make anyone shudder. But with a meal like pot roast to look forward to, it might just make up for the lack of caffeine, even if just a little bit!
