Well, hot today and tomorrow and then storms the rest of the week. Hot dog, yep, it's Virginia in the summer folks! Actually, not sure if it is going to make it but I saw in a couple of places it is going to be 94 today. I am putting off getting my new car battery until tomorrow when it should be a tad cooler. I just hope it starts,,,otherwise I am going to have to get a jump start. Walmart is where I think I will get the best price. I think my last battery came from there, or Auto Zone. Anyway, it was a good one. What's up with you today?

I hope that the car starts when you decide to go and have the battery replaced.
At least you know that you got the entire life from the battery.
It is a quiet day here today.
I went out a little earlier and bought a nice big watermelon and sliced it up.
We will keep a container here and Grandpa can bring the rest over to the girls tomorrow to remind them of how proud we are that they are using the bathroom.

Yes, I was thinking about whether the twins were fully potty trained or not now. I know they have been working on it for awhile. Congrats!

@LadyDuck My dad has his driving privileges yanked maybe 4 years ago He was probably capable of limited driving then, but before that he had gotten lost a few times. Also he always had a cell. My mother would tell him to keep it in and when he got home it was always off.

@snowy22315 I am his "navigator", he drives, but I have to tell him turn left, go straight ahead, turn right. Better I do not get distracted or I wonder where we end up.

Nothing going on here. I'm just tired of all this heat and humidity and thunderstorms predicted almost every day.

Walmart has good prices. I thought I was going to have to make an appointment, but I talked to them this AM they said just bring it in.

I am going to call AAA and see if I can get a battery from them and a jump for the Scion. The battery is 9 years old. Have a good day and I hope the car starts for you.

Thanks, yeah it did. I had it checked at batteries plus, they said it doesn't need a battery at the moment, but it is kind of low in terms of charge. I am going to get a charger friend has to try to charge it. However, maybe not until after the hurricane. I seriously doubt you are going to get a 9 year old battery to charge up. When is the last time somebody drove it?
