We’re fine here at my end in Daytona Beach just very soggy and wet. Then I got the biggest surprise, Of all the things that could be found after a hurricane someone in the Florida Keys found 25 packages of cocaine that washed up on a beach. The Good Samaritan has passed the find to the police who have confiscated it. To read more about Hurricane Debby

That's a surprise. not really. I want to say last year after two hurricanes hit, old shipwrecks were exposed.

I am happy for you that you are safe despite Hurricane Debby making landfall in Florida this morning.

@Deepizzaguy I don't take hurricanes too much into my mind, With my anxiety issues I could just make myself very sick, There is an apartment complex across the street right by the Halifax River and that has been there way before I came here 7 years ago to I look at it and since it remains standing I know all will be OK

That's also the best time to search for treasure either by eye or metal detector!!!! Stay safe and have a good day.

I am not sure I would be so generous to the force..I may keep it at this point to recreated the use of it.

That is strange to wash up, but at least it is off of the streets now.

@RasmaSandra It definitely could have been a deadly find had the right person not found it and turned it in.

That's a good lesson to not hide anything on a beach because a hurricane can make it appear.
