I find it hard to believe that someone who want to own a boa constrictor as a pet since they are dangerous to have a pet.
I know the saying "Different strokes for different folks and different rhymes for different times." The female owner of a yellow boa constrictor claimed on Facebook that her pet snake is very friendly and she believes that her boa constrictor managed to leave her home in Paducah Kentucky on Tuesday was seen on North 11th Street when Director of Animal Control James Holler with the help of the Paducah Police Officers were able to capture the snake.
After the snake was captured by the Animal Control Officer and police, the snake was taken to the McCracken County Humane Society where the owner is expected to reunite with her pet snake.

I don't believe in a friendly boa constrictor:( I think that all boa constrictors should be outlawed, as pets!

@Deepizzaguy They don't have the brain capacity to display love or to become friendly!

@Deepizzaguy ........I heard a rattler once in the desert outside Mountain Home. I also saw a black snake at a rest stop. And, I saw the ones at the zoo.

To each his own, but not my idea of a pet at all. I would hate to have been the policeman.

I am in agreement with you that being a police officer having to deal with a snake is dangerous.

I think it's crazy to have a snake that bit and that snakes belong with other snakes,

A family home is not a happy or healthy environment for a boa constrictor. This one looks as big as one that has been at an area zoo. Huge!!

A friendly snake, that's a good one, although, they do seem to have a sly grin on their faces, at times. She must be being too lax with the snake that she allows it such freedom in her home, and so it was able to escape, and cause havoc in her neighbourhood.
A snake on the streets is something that nobody wants to see.

There's no such thing as a friendly snake. I'm glad the boa was captured and will be reunited with its owner.

No since my late mom was bitten by a boa constrictor when she opened the front part of the engine door of her auto that was parked in the grass near our former home in Panama. It is through God's grace that she survived the snake bite.
