Retirement!

How many of you have a retirement plan? It's a time in life when you can live freely without working. Unfortunately, many of us can't retire when we'd like to. We dream about it, but often we retire much later in life for various reasons. Personally, I have an ideal age for retirement to enjoy life with my family, but I realize I need to keep earning to secure our future. I'm afraid that without a steady income, my life and my family's life would come to a halt. Do you see yourself retiring someday?

@kareng working from home is a blessing to our family because we can physically and emotionally be there for the kids when they need us. We're like semi retired lol

It will sound crazy but i wish i can retire at fourty.
I am working hard and saving for it hope i can reach my goal of early retirement.

I'm aiming for 45, but at this point, I think I might just break even by then.
I suppose I need to work both hard and smart, just like you.

I am working on my retirement plan . I do see a day I would be retiring and working on my hobbies and reading books . Perhaps having a more of me time. With the growing inflation and cost of things , I do agree that we might have to work past the retirement age to keep the things moving. I do have a returement age in mind and also need to be healthy till that age to have the things going. I too am trying to get a steady income for the household and has not been successful as I wish I were now. Well, lot of hard work to be done in those terms to keep the money coming in. Would like to retire at the right time and health.

I'm glad you brought up health because I completely forgot about it.
It's crucial to maintain a work-life balance if we want to reach our ideal retirement age.
