10 August - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cloudy, rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 66 F and feels like 77 F. The breeze doesn't feel that warm. We also had a little rain, but it stopped.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for the volunteer training at church this morning. The speaker was from Dallas, Texas. He was excellent! I learned a lot more than I expected. I only wish I remembered to bring the papers home that we worked on.
I'm thankful Teddy and Freddy cooperated today when I got home. They went out for me this time.
I'm thankful for the time spent with you after the Packers/Browns game got over. It's always fun to spend time with you.
I'm thankful I got all my steps today walking the halls. I also worked out on the foot cycle during the game.

I'm thankful for the thunderstorm we had today. It got to 93 today, but the rain made it tolorable. I'm thankful that George took a little walk today. He didn't go completely into the back yard like he did yesterday, but he did walk around onne side of the house. So that's nice. He was asking me about the races which will be back tomorrow. It was nice having a break from them though.

You had a nice and relaxing day too!!
Thankful for a quiet and unexciting day today! And a little nap, even though it was a very late one!! I thought I was going to read a few pages in my book and I fell asleep! My hubby did not wake me up and I was surprised that it was 7 pm when I woke up! I think I needed the extra sleep!

Volunteer training that's a good lesson to learn. I don't know, who are Teddy and Freddy? The Packers/Browns game, that should be an excellent fight! I got a hug from Jeff Janis one day, at the repair shop! He used to play for the Packers:) I've had a nice Sunday, so far:)

@just4him The repair shop charged me twice to fix my one tire. The third time, Jeff was present and he said there would be no charge. Those two men wilted, "Jeff is the head honcho over these men!"lol

I'm thankful that I spoke to the nurse about my husband not getting his meals. I will talk to the doctor tomorrow about my husband not getting an expectorant cough medicine. Have a good day.

@just4him I called twice yesterday and held and held. Mondays are not good for calling doctors. I will try again today.

It sounds like you had a productive and enjoyable day! I’m glad to hear the volunteer training was so beneficial and that Teddy and Freddy were cooperative. It’s great that you had time to relax and enjoy after the game too.

I don’t know why, but I forgot about all the preseason games taking place. I’m so ready for the real games!
Today, I am thankful for how cool it was. I didn’t even need to run the air conditioner. That is unheard of in August for Oklahoma.

I'm thankful for the weekend. I got a chance to visit my parents but I'm returning to school this Sunday afternoon.
