A weekend of buying stuff

I wish we could take a break from shopping, but since there's a lot that we need to set up at the new and bigger apartment, we feel compelled to buy stuff anyway. Last Saturday, after I attended a recollection at a nearby university, my husband and I headed straight to Robinsons Galleria mall to look for a closet for our girls' bedroom. They need storage for their school uniforms and for everyday clothes. We found a nice one and bought it right away. My husband assembled the closet as soon as we got home. Then, yesterday (Sunday), we went to a mall again to hear Mass and to have my eldest daughter's laptop repaired. Unfortunately, the repair shop was closed in Tiendesitas Mall, so we had to go to Galleria (again!) to look for another person to fix the device. Alas, it could not be saved and we will have to buy a new one before end of August. My eldest, of course, was so disappointed because she uses her laptop a lot for digital art. Good thing there was a comic con at the mall, and she and her sister had fun meeting artists and buying stickers of OCs (original characters) that they like. We also bought clothes for the girls and a blouse for myself. Good thing the department store was on sale. We saved a lot from our purchases. I had wanted to buy a few grocery items, too, but the supermarket was packed, and I could not stand the smell of frying oil everywhere. Food court was beside the supermarket. We just bought some food to eat and some breads for the week and then we headed home. How do you usuallly spend your weekend?

it is great your husband could assemble the closet and not pay for that service. sales are always good. i usually spend my weekends in grocery shopping or taking a walk; i prefer second more.

oh, i miss long walks on a good weather. it seems that i'm always trying to catch up on chores or procrastinating with k dramas. i get so overwhelmed with all the decluttering and unpacking that i need to do that i would sometimes just drop everything and do what i want. anyway, i also love grocery shopping but i usually do that on weekdays when there's not a lot of people.

It's good to be home on a weekend and to be busy as well. I keep forgetting to complete my survey assignments. How many surveys are you able to finish in a day?

I hope your husband will be home again soon. At least, you've got MyLot to keep you busy. Have a good day/night!
