Hoping for a Little Rain!

We haven't had a good rain for over a week and a half here now. We were getting a little shower or thunderstorm daily or every other day and that was perfect for the garden.
With temperatures all in high 90s and with heat index feeling like 107 and higher, adding another chore to the list is taxing on the body!
At 12:30 it was 96F with a heat index of 109. We do have some rain in the forecast this afternoon, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Are you in a dry spell as far as rain goes in your area also?

It's supposed to rain a lot here this weekend. We had torrential downpours with the storms that came through last week. I hope you get some rain. Have a good day.

My area has been in a dry spell with heat advisory through the late morning until sunset for the past week.

The last several days, we have had a lot of rain. Off and on thunder and rain but no damages, however mud is everywhere. My nice, clean car is all muddy and I just washed it the other day. Oh well, that’s life!

I was going to wash mine today, but there's no point. We've had two rain showers and probably will have one more. Maybe tomorrow.
