He did a little bit better in Physical Therapy yesterday; but he's still not up to his pre-COVID activity.
We will be visiting him today and bringing him some KFC chicken. We will also be going next week to celebrate his birthday.
I have no idea at this point when he will be coming home. :-(
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and thoughts.

When he's confident and feels ready to go. He can't be held there against his will.

@LindaOHio At the end of the day, it has to be his decision. No one can keep him there against his will.

Bringing him some KFC chicken sounds like a lovely way to lift his spirits, and I’m sure he’ll appreciate the visit. Celebrating his birthday next week with him will be a special moment, even if things are still uncertain.

I'm sure he will do better physically, when that COVID virus is overcome.

@LindaOHio He's healing up, that's the most important issue. God loves both of you!

@kobesbuddy Yes He does. I was worried about my husband when I heard he had COVID. He has a lot of other health issues.

I asked for a small coleslaw. It was TINY but cost almost 6 bucks.

@porwest Yup. All of their food is very expensive, even if you have a coupon.

@LindaOHio It's hella expensive. Not sure why. I know the last time we got some it was terribly expensive. For crying out loud, it's just cabbage. lol

It can take a long time to recover after Covid.

Yes, it certainly can. My husband's 2nd cousin retired on disability because of long COVID.

Does he have a walker? Maybe he could walk around on the weekends on his own. He’d probably get more attention from he staff that way, too….”Mr. OHio, should you be out of bed?”

He has a wheelchair without footrests. Many of the residents "walk" around the halls all the time. He prefers to stay in bed which is not good.

@LindaOHio — he’s not going to be able to do that when he gets home!

@FourWalls No he's not. Every weekend I try to encourage him to have someone help him get undressed and into a wheelchair.
