Continuation of our fun day out yesterday-- Our third stop was to go to a vendor mall type of store. I have been asked to move my Farmasi products in there and antiques also. I wanted to check the store out before making any kind of decision. This store is about 20 miles to the west of our town and would not interfere with my other obligations in our town. I found out that the store closed at noon at 12:15 so we did not get to visit, but we did drive down the highway to see exactly where it was. That way I know where it is when I attempt to visit again. We did stop at a firearms range that we passed. The Homochitto National Forest has a firearms range there and also have certain areas open during the year for hunting. My husband wanted to check it out since he was a Firearms Instructor for the State of Louisiana. This range will come in handy for siting in any new firearms purchased or taking one of the girls or friends to the range for target practice. On the way back to the main highway leading back to our town, we saw another little shop and diner. We pulled over. There were several cars in the parking lot. There was a man sitting out front and he came over and introduced himself. He was the owner and told us they had retired and closed down. He was also from Louisiana and we ended up talking for over 30 minutes. Next stop was another small town to the west of us. They were having the 3rd Saturday of the month event. I thought this was going to be a big deal and was disappointed when we got there. There were only two shops open, a few sidewalk vendors and 2 food trucks. We did go into one of the stores. I had noticed a nice vanity in there during the Spring and wanted to see if it was still available. Nope, Strike it was gone. By that time we were ready for a bathroom break and headed back to our house for that. We then headed East to check out some property for sale that wasn't too far from our house. We located where we thought it was, but no sign up. Last night, I found that the property had a sale pending on it. So it is off the market. Boo! After that little ride, we headed back into town to the grocery store to pick up some ice cream and head back home. I chose Cookies and Cream flavor that we enjoyed while cooling off after getting back home. All in all, we had an enjoyable day! I think I'll plan another day like this soon! Those sorts of days are great fun. While Cookies and Cream sounds great, I usually stick to vanilla. So boring!!

It was a planned day to do some different things that get skipped over on usual days and weeks! I'll take it! Breaks the pattern of the same old thing!
