Gone From the Site For a Long Time

I have been gone from the site for a long time. I had really enjoyed being here and then ran into a wave of negative comments and name-calling from a number of deeply right-wing members. I would like to test the waters again and see what it feels like. But the old Thumper axiom from Bambi of "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" is desired--

I would just block someone if they give you grief on that front. There are only two here now I would consider to be ultra right wingers.

I've found most people can be quite chill. Some members do get heated when you get into hot-button topics though.
