I couldn't use my laptop

I am using Windows 11. I followed the advice of a person. He said Windows 11 is the best Windows. Windows 11 asked me to change my password. I wrote it and the laptop didn't turn on. It just kept saying that the password can't be changed. I received this error again and again. My old password expired. Fortunately, it finally worked. Sometimes technology is not our best friend. I don't even need a password, but Windows 11 forces me to use a password. I am glad the problem was solved. Now I can use it. Maybe I can avoid using a password and I don't know how to do this.

Now a days you can't get away with using a password. If you're like most people, you use your windows user i.d. and password to log in. This is the most secure. Now, you could try creating a local account and not entering a password when prompted. Or, you can use Windows hello, which wuld let you log in with a fingerprint, face or four digit pin bypassing your password.

@dya80dya That can happen. Windows isn't that great with biometrics. I've had to recan my fingerprint several times with many different computers. My mac is always fast and effective when it comes to fingerprints. And, just because you may not have anything on it, you can never know what ges on. You can't be watching it 24/7.

Glad that it finally worked. I am still using Windows 10 for my laptop. Do you find Windows 11 easy to use?

I have not faced any issue like that with Windows 11 . I did mess up similar to what you did in Windows 10 when the laptop was initially set up. I ended up going to store and asking the laptop to be reset. It took a day and got the reset done. I was careful from then on , with the passwords I use and so far have not faced any issue. It is true that at times, technology may not be your best friend. Technology should ease life but sometimes it just complicates things. Well, glad you were able to get things fixed.
