Good evening, @xstitcher! I hope you're having a great evening! It's a cloudy and humid morning here at my end. Later, at 1:30 I will meet the teacher and director of a small English academy. I will cover for a teacher who will be going under the knife next week. I am delighted and jittery at the same time. It's been seventeen years since I last taught in a classroom.

Our mail person has not came yet.

I got a letter from the electric company. I figured they were complaining that I didn't send them any money yet (which I had). So I opened the envelope and they were congratulating me on using less electricity than even the energy efficient homes. BFHD!!!! They'll complain that they aren't making enough money and raise their rates and I'll still be needing to cut my usage. Some of these companies you just don't win with!!! Be careful Stacey, that virus that has hit California is nasty. My gentleman friend and I are both hopefully headed towards the end of the mess, but boy when you get it you're laid low for quite awhile. It starts with being kind of tired and goes from there. My gentleman friend called about two hours ago, he came into town to get food and do a couple of other errands and head home. I'm relieved to hear he's okay, although in the same shape I'm in but still getting better. We just have to remember to keep taking things easy and not push ourselves. It was a shocker for me on Monday afternoon to find out that I hadn't done laundry for a month...I am good about doing it weekly!!! I think that's why I am warning everyone to be really careful and get plenty of rest and not push themselves unnecessarily. You don't want this virus as bad as I got it. So please be really careful!!!

I have to pay the last utility bill for this month today. These bills can be annoying. It's Friday morning here. Friday is an off day for me. After sending my daughter to college, I am going back to bed for a short nap.
