It's always raining in the Philippines, a fact that has both its pros and cons; while the consistent rainfall provides a lush, green landscape and abundant water resources, it can also lead to frequent flooding, landslides, and a humid climate that can be uncomfortable for some. Despite the challenges, many Filipinos appreciate the beauty of their rainy season, embracing the opportunity to enjoy indoor activities, indulge in warm comfort food, and admire the vibrant flora and fauna that thrive in the wet conditions; however, others find the constant rain to be monotonous and depressing, yearning for periods of sunshine and clear skies. Ultimately, whether one enjoys the Philippines' rainy season or not is a matter of personal preference, as the experience can vary greatly depending on individual circumstances and perspectives.

I'd rather be exhausted with the heat. At least you can remedy that - go to a mall, turn on the AC, go to the beach, take a shower etc. While with rain you can't do anything about it. You can't stop it, you can't control it. You can't do anything to keep the flood waters from flooding your streets and homes.
