Today, while working all my "side hustle" sites, I remembered mylot. I had literally forgotten this place existed. As I was reading a few posts I was reminded about how I often think about 90's internet. I was always a fan of blogs, and have kept one in one form or another off and on since I first started spending any time online. I was particularly fond of Xanga and how almost everyone there was just blogging about their personal live, and how much I miss the feeling of sharing your life with someone else. I made friendships and connections there like I've never found anywhere else. Now everyone with a blog seems to be an influencer of some kind or another and always trying to sell you something, or everything. Then I realzed that here is as close as I'm ever going to find to the old style perblogging that I loved so much. People are always sharing their lives here. I need to quit forgetting this place exists and start playing around here again.
