Thursday evening last week, when I got home at about 4 pm. There were three beautiful white mushrooms growing near the road across the street.
By the time the sun set we had a huge colony of lovely mushrooms growing around my mailbox.
Today, Monday, they have all deflated. The circle of life, I guess. They were being fed by decaying grass that had been cut.
Lots of things to be seen in nature if we open our eyes.

They could come back, but that is sad. Well the weather has been unpridictable at best.

Way back when I lived in Latvia for some reason one year mushrooms started growing in the garden, My husband knew all about mushrooms and we were luck these were edible mushrooms,
