A rude awakening

At 7:19am this morning I was in bed, having a more or less pleasant dream, when at 7:20 the emergency alert klaxon went off. The volumes were down on both my phone and clock radio, so I'm not sure if it was an amber alert, senior alert or weather alert.
Whatever it was, I sure was alert. I sat up with a violent jerk and got an actual pain in the neck.
The pain is gone now, I can't remember the dream and the klaxon hasn't gone off again, so I don't know what the emergency was.

As I said, I didn't hear what it was about, but I thougjt I heard them giving out a license plate number...

We had a 5-point alert for the storms that were moving across the lake last night. I didn't hear any thunder; and we hardly got any rain. Very strange. Have a good day.

Doesn't look as if we got any rain overnight. It might rain later today, or not.
