Good afternoon from wet, hot, and humid Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 77 F right now and raining.
It's been a good day so far. I spent the early morning at the Kroc Center in the pool and the fitness track. Then I had Bible study at ten. My friend has it in her apartment now, since she doesn't have anyone to watch Sammy anymore. It went well.
Near the end of Bible study, I was watching the sky get dark and felt the urgency to get my suit and towels off the balcony. I did, and then the heavens opened up. I got them off the balcony just in time.
When I got home and weighed myself, I got another pleasant surprise. I'm down almost a pound since yesterday. I have a feeling the heat had something to do with that. I also ate little in the heat yesterday.
We need the rain, so I'm not complaining about it. I woke at midnight to find it raining. This morning I found my door mat I have on the patio had flown from the patio to the rocks at the end of the balcony. Other things were knocked over and moved. So the winds were strong last night along with the rain we got.
I need to read a book today for the book club. I think it's this Friday and I have a lot of book left to read.

Nothing going on here. There is another batch of rain moving across the lake. I guess we could use it. Have a good day.

That pool makes me wish I could dive in. I do miss swimming.

I talked to a lady today in charge of the Social Club and she told me I have until September 20 to read it, which is good. I'm only on chapter 3.
It's a shallow pool, so no diving. But it is refreshing every morning and a great way to start the day.
Thank you. I was happy to see that pound gone.

I am doing okay waiting for the inspector to come inside and check the residence to see if everything is okay under a mostly cloudy afternoon.

Hot and humid in the house. No rain yet, but we're being teased with clouds around the house.I hope we get some rain, because we could use it. I'm glad you're getting some. It should clear the air.

We have sun right now and rain returning in a few hours. It didn't cool it off. The computer is showing it's even hotter than it was.
I hope you get rain. I hope you have your A/C on.
