Cheating

I was just remembering in 2010 when I joined Facebook to play Scrabble. One of my best friends was there, and was a top scorer.
Now that's impossible.
My friend is full on dyslexic. He spells his own name wrong sometimes.
He told me he got this cheat which plays for him. We started a game and from his virtual first move I could feel the cheat.
Okay, he's having a joke.
But there were others who used the same cheat.
You won nothing, so why cheat? I couldn't understand it. Why cheat?
To thwart the cheaters I did a 24 hour between moves game. This chased them as they needed instant gratification.
Scrabble was removed from Facebook shortly after I joined.

@RasmaSandra in 2010 it was a really good Scrabble game on FB. Then the cheaters piled in. Now I can understand if you are playing against the computer... YOU are playing. These people aren't playing, the app is playing and they are watching

Gamers cheat because they cannot accept defeat. Partly because of fame or show off
