Brand loyalty is being loyal to one brand.
The brand can be food, drinks, cars or toys. There are also loyalty to a certain restaurant or fast food place.
You can also be loyal to a certain brand of clothes or shoes.
Maybe you even are loyal to a certain brand of furniture.
Some people are loyal to their friends and family.
Even if I am loyal to a certain brand if the price goes up to much I just might switch or not buy that brand anymore.

I am not too picky when it comes to brands, unless it's pads. But, I don't need to buy those for a while.

@porwest Oh yeah, I know. You just have to know how to read. In some cases, the store brand will save you money, in other cases it's about the same as the name brand product.

The same goes with me in the manner that I am loyal to generic soft drinks compared to mainstream brands of soft drinks due to the price.

I try to be pretty loyal to the brands I like. But yes, with the price increases in groceries I have had to buy some of the generic store brands.
Some have turned out to be ok as a replacement, a plus!

I’m a creature of habit, loyal to the things and people I love. When it comes to food brands, I’m particularly devoted. They become like old friends, familiar and comforting. But my loyalty has its limits. If a brand starts to inflate its prices beyond reason, I feel betrayed. It’s as if they’ve taken advantage of our friendship. In those moments, my lion's pride kicks in. I refuse to be taken for a fool. I’ll switch to a different brand or even improvise a meal using alternative ingredients. It’s a tough decision, but sometimes, loyalty has to give way to practicality.

I have switched to many Walmart brands to save money. There are certain things like toilet paper and Kleenex where we always buy a name brand. Have a good day.

I'm loyal to some brands but I also tend to get enticed by nice packaging.

Our loyalty to brands are based on some or many parameters. It could be price , quality , packaging , duration ,reliability etc. Some if not all have preference over a few brands in certain categories than a love for only a single brand. For example, chocolate. Some stick only to Hersheys while others would be looking at Kitkat , Ferroro etc. And when some of the parameters change, as you pointed out , most may look at alternatives. In current age, people look at the parameters more and the ones which matches, we are loyal to that brand.

If the price goes up on my favorite brand, if I must have this bran , I'll pay triple the price if I have the money. If i don't have enough money, generic it is
