The noise from my neighbors is too strong

Today I couldn't do what I planned because of noise. The noise was so strong that I couldn't concentrate on anything. I cleaned my room instead while I listened to music. I wanted to learn something or read, or just complete surveys. The noise lasted for many hours. My neighbors renovate their house. Are you bothered by noise when it lasts for many hours? It stops and it begins again. I am listening to loud music because I can't stand the noise.

Wow they are allowed to renovate in flats there?
I am sorry you had to experience it.
Here, we are not allowed to do this in rentals.

It’s hard to focus on anything with constant noise around. Cleaning your room and listening to music was a good way to cope with it, though. I can definitely relate. Long periods of noise can be so distracting and exhausting. I hope the renovations finish soon so you can get back to your plans in peace!
