New Sci-fi Inspired Graphic Design Experiment

Dear all,
This is my latest graphic design experiment.
It's meant to be an interdimensional stairway.
It's inspired by old school sci-fi shows like "Sliders".
So the elements were created separately, then blended for the final result you see.
I really enjoyed this, and I hope the community here does as well. Thanks for checking it out as always.

I'm glad you like it, and good to hear from you @RebeccasFarm. 
Sidenote, though the purple is meant to be a portal, it more resembles a fractal now that I'm looking at it again. I'm sure you probably know what fractals are.
I'm still going to leave it as is, because it's cool, lol.
