Back again and with sad news

Hey, how are you all doing? Been away a while again and thought I would drop in a say hello, might even drop a few posts I been thinking about. So, for those of us in the USA, hope you are enjoying a long weekend due to Labor Day. The unofficial end of summer and with the weather we have had this last week I am ready to get on to cooler weather. Sad news from Thursday Aug 29th. Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau died when hit by a drunk driver. Oh, sorry I guess in this day I'm supposed to say allegedly even though he failed the roadside test, had open alcohol in the vehicle and admitted to drinking and driving. Johnny was a 10-year veteran in the National Hockey League and Matthew, his brother was a player in the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League). Both men husbands and fathers taken to young (31 and 29) by a drunk. Sadly, Sean Higgins, the driver won't get tried for murder but some lesser charge. Hope you all have a good and safe weekend.

Yep pretty sad. I figure we should all know not to drink and drive so no mercy on them. maybe we could run them over with a car

That was sad and especially so since they were supposed to be groomsmen at their sister's wedding.

Well they never do they get a lesser charge cause it's a "disease" to not know to drink and drive.

DAMN, that's really sad, what will it take to get through to people drinking & driving doesn't MIX ! ! ! never I guess sorry to hear that he won't get what he deserves & that's the BOOK thrown at him, & taken off the road 4-good.

maybe be tougher on the laws for it, you hear about these people that get caught many times, maybe cut the legs at the knee, maybe lockem up for good, firing squad? Something need to be done.

sudden deaths are the most tragic. glad that you're back and that summer is gone, in a way.
