9/1/24 - Update On My Husband

He was pretty tired and groggy when I spoke with him last night. I mostly wanted to tell him that we would be coming to see him on Monday instead of Sunday.
He said his roommate didn't have his usual loud company, so he was able to fall asleep.
The first of the month means we will have to pay for another 30 days of a semi-private room.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers and thoughts.

And that'll drag because tomorrow is labor day which slows down processing. How in the hell are yu affording this?

@LindaOHio If they developed a course of treatment, which you could implement, when this chest congestion rears it's ugly head, with some assistance, I cannot see why he wouldn't be able to return home. Lots of people live at home with some assistance. Home is always the best place to be, we both know that.

@Juliaacv He has to be able to get in and out of his recliner without assistance. He still needs help. We couldn't really hire someone to be here 24/7. Hopefully he will be able to do it on his own this month.

This is why I think you need a lawyer or a “state” investigation. He should have been in OT five months ago. They are just milking you, and it’s WRONG.

My husband does not want to rock the boat at this point. I think I would start with the Ombudsman and get suggestions from him.

I would be so tempted to blare my own TV when he is blaring his with his loud company. Payback works sometimes! It would be a terrible discord but he might possibly understand competitive noise!

I know that's a hit from the hip pocket you
really can't afford & you'll both be glad
when you can get rid of that bill, but
maybe soon everything will come
together & you can have him home.
Tell him we are all rooting for him to
get well & come home real soon.
