We celebrated. We napped.

We must have had a food coma. After church today we celebrated the 90th birthday of our church organist. Her two adult children were there, with their spouses. Pastor and her husband prepared fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn. There was a fancy chocolate cake, but also there was a birthday cake and ice cream. Bob and I had planned to go out of town afterwards to a zoo, and then to a Huddle House restaurant in Emporia, Kansas. Instead we came home and took a two and a half hour nap. That is really a long nap for me. We are glad for the days we can just relax. Wow, I feel wiped out, but I am sure I needed it. I am still struggling with the remainder of the cold I had. We will see what tomorrow brings, but it could be just about anything. Happy September, you guys. I hope you had a great day.

Napping is pretty unusual for me. Yes, Bonnie just keeps on keeping on and I am so glad. When I lived in McPherson, she lived there and was church organist there.

I have known Bonnie forever, it seems. She was an organist at the church in McPherson when we lived there and so did she.

I had an okay day. It wasn't as hot today so I'm glad about that. George is watching the race. I'll get his tube here in a few minutes.

@kaylachan We will have 80's mostly upper 80's, but that is better than mid to upper 90's

In the last two years she has lost her husband and had cancer twice, but she is a trooper.

It is not often that I nap any more than just a power nap. I am glad I could.

I hope he could reach more than a centennial age. It was like my granny reached the age of 103.

What an amazing news, you are celebrated the 90th birthday of your church organist. I hope, I will reach also that 90th birthday, I'm just 54 years right now.
