If you're looking forward to your favorite store-bought goodies for your Labor Day cookout this year you might notice prices are still inflated. Actually, due to the continued assault on the oil industry, and excessive spending by the Biden/Harris administration, (on programs like the Inflation Reduction Act), the cost for these items have risen in the past year. Meat, beans and beer have gone up anywhere from 3-10% from this time last year, so contrary to administration claims of inflation returning to normal, it's just not true. Harris's claim that it is a result of price gouging is also a lie, PURE GASLIGHTING. Government statistics have shown grocery stores only have a net profit margin of less than 2% on their products sold, hardly a "bonanza" of revenue! So, enjoy your hot dogs, hamburgers, and baked beans as you say goodbye to the official end of summer.
