The dentist was rude

I went yesterday to the dentist. She had an awful behavior. She scolded me and didn't stop until a stranger entered the office. She was very angry. She said that I don't know how to bite. I didn't have teeth and my bite can't be right. And she told me the dental work was wrong because I didn't know how to bite. And she can't modify it again. And in the end, she said that the dental work was good. Now I don't know what to believe. I know how to bite, but I am worried that my permanent crowns will not fit right. She is a doctor with experience, but she was rude because she scolded me too much. I have to pay a lot of money and I still don't know if the final crowns are good. Maybe it was my mistake and I didn't know how to bite. She should call me again because she is the dentist. She should repair my mistakes. Tomorrow I have to go again. I was less active here because I was busy with the dentist and kittens. The dentist helped me forget my negative thoughts. Fortunately, I don't care if strangers scold or block me. I only care about the people I know. Later I will answer all my notifications.

I’ve heard this before. But there is very little you can do about it, and it is her job to help you correct it.

She wants to permanently cement the crown tomorrow. If something is wrong I won't be able to do anything. I don't know what to do. After she was so angry and said that the dental work was wrong, how can I accept now to have it permanently cemented? I am confused.

@dya80dya Until she permanently cements it, it’s always going to be wobbly and will soon fall out or break. I think you’ve come too far to stop now. Talk to her about your concerns. Explain to her your confusion. Even if she is rude, she might still do the job right.

@AmbiePam I explained to her, but I still don't understand what she wanted. And in the end, she said that my dental crowns are not good and the upper teeth don't touch the lower teeth. I still don't know if my bite is right. Maybe I will have other problems if my bite is wrong.

The dental work is ready and now I can't change the dentist. Tomorrow she wants to permanently cement it even if I am not sure if it's good or not.

It is sad to have a dentist with such an attitude. We pay them a lot and they scold us?!?

It's so true. And if I didn't have teeth how could I have the right bite? She said some things, but after that, she changed her mind.

This is only my opinion. I think they did not do the work the right way and they are trying to blame you. I have found dentists to be condescending and make you feel like a failure. I wish they would not do that. But this is only an opinion.

This is very possible. I still don't know if I should cancel my appointment. Tomorrow I have to go and she wants to permanently cement it. I can't remove it if something is wrong.

@akalinus Thank you. She cemented the crowns and they seem good. They don't bother me.

@dya80dya it is a big risk, you must be sure that everything is well to use permanent cement.

@nela13 She used permanent cement because she will be on vacation. The new crowns don't bother me and they seem good. She is very stubborn.

Yes, this is what she said. And the dental crowns seemed loose and wobbly.

you are wise; only close people matter more but, i know this wasn't comfortable at all and i am sorry. also, you give her the money, i don't understand her frustration. many of them don't know how to work with people but it's not your problem. i am glad you didn't let this come to you or your mood. i hope she will behave from now on.

She cemented my crowns, but she still said that the bite was wrong. She said that the crowns aren't good, and the teeth don't touch. But I feel it's good. The new crowns don't bother me. I am not sure what she wanted. I am still confused.
