Violent Typhoon.

I just watched a few minutes ago that the typhoon that passed my country, named "Enteng," with the international name "Yagi," has been declared a super typhoon category by the US (JTWC) and Japan weather bureau. Japan Weather Bureau said that it can be a violent typhoon though it is still in the water and on its way to China. I hope when it will land, it will not be as strong as it is now.

Good thing it is exiting our country already before it became a super typhoon category. Numerous locations in Manila are flooded due to the intense rain that it brought. We were hit by Typhoon Carina a few months ago, which resulted in additional rain, and now we are experiencing it once more. We have a lot of rainwater being lashed by another typhoon. On the other hand, it is advantageous since it allows us to have enough fresh water to restock our dams in advance of the dry season, when supplies of water are limited.

Hope it doesn't become a destructive storm and cause lots of problems. It's scary when they add "super" to the typhoon

Typhoons are bad enough but a super typhoon would be terrible.

They usually lose some strength after passing over land. I hope the damage in your country wasn't very bad.
