The effect of global warming on the flora and fauna

The fauna and flora they are all confused. Not so long ago they knew when to flower and when to stay dormant when it came to the flora and as for the fauna I see the change in the birdis that visit our garden. We could hear the mating call of the Indian Cockoo just around the time with the start of the monsoon season. It is already September and I hear a Cuckoor giving out a mating call. I can understand how devastating the situation is. I am restless to see this happening around me

I can see the disaster of global warming. Soon we will not arrive to grow vegetables that need the cold and the snow.

@LadyDuck Consistency was the name of the game when it came to seasons. Wonder how one can cope with these weird changes unless science comes out with something.

@allknowing - We had a weird weather this year, my hot peppers are still very small and green. I doubt they will be ready before Autumn comes.

Global warming for sure. Our careless use of resources as humans is causing all this.

Abnormal is the new normal. The glaciers are melting . Aquatic life has been impacted and many fishes are showing abnormal behaviour. The climate change has been for worse. Heatwaves are making us to stay indoors .Temperatures are touching 50C and areas which were having equable temperatures are now seeing temperatures above 30 and 35. Flora and Fauna are also seeing the impact of the climate change. It is sad and you are right to point out they are confused. The sync among the seasons are gone. Hope things become better.

I wonder if science can undo the global warming effect as there is little hope anything can be done to stop global warming.

We are having really unusual weather too and it does confuse the vegetation.

We human beings can perhaps adjust but not the flora and the fauna and that is having an effect on their behaviour.
