The Dark Tourism: Are you one of them?

I am sure some of you are aware of this term "dark tourism." It is best described as the unhappy places where death and destruction happened, such as the remnants of the war sites and the like. Some people want to see them up close as what they read in the book of history.  Are you into visiting unhappy places? Have you visited them? Image Credit: scotsman.com

No , i'm not into dark tourism but i hope the girl in the other side of our house will know this kind of tourism so that she can be one of them and she will not always bully and annoy people like me in our compound and in the baranggay

She seems a source of annoyance at your place. If I were in that place, I might her match. Why not file a formal complaint in your barangay against her?

@Shavkat the barangay will not bring this case to the police because they will always say that you need to be patient with such kind of neighbors

@Shavkat unless they will do physical injuries against you. People in our compound always annoyed with them but they can do nothing about their rude behavior. They can ignore whatever the gossip they want to spread around the neighborhood.

We visited some WWI sites where Vince's uncle fought. I see it as paying respect to those who lost their lives there.

If I were in this place, I would surely want to light candles and offer prayers to them.

I had only seen some historic campsites. I am sure the stories behind them showed with their destructions.

We are on the same page. I also visited some of them and fascinated at some point. It brings the real truth of viewing and checking them out in person.

No, I wouldn't visit any unhappy places. I would feel too sad and I already have my own issues.

If I had read some facts about these places that can make me affected much, I would not want to see them for myself.

During my school years, I am so bored studying the world history and the like. When our history teacher organized a field trip to some of these places, I was able to learn more and got interested to know more about them.
